Job Description

SBM Management is currently looking to hire a Salesforce Application Developer to join their team!  The Application Developer is responsible for the installation, maintenance, operations, and support of one or more applications. The Application Developer will work in an Agile development environment. This position will require working in a low/medium level of risk, complexity and visibility. While the primary responsibility of this position is development and testing, working on this team will require the position to be willing to be involved in other aspects to move work to a status of done.

Responsibilities
  • Develop customized solutions within the Salesforce platform to support critical business functions and meet project objectives and company goals
  • Manage daily support and maintenance of internal Salesforce instance, and conduct long-term improvement operations to ensure compatibility with evolving mission requirements
  • Communicate with project managers other developers to design cohesive project strategies and ensure effective collaboration throughout all phases of development, testing and deployment
  • Provide system administration support of internal and customer-facing Salesforce environment, especially related to customized applications, user permissions, security settings, custom objects and workflow
  • Responsible for all phases of software development lifecycle: Coding, Testing, Deployment, Technical Requirements, and Support
  • Direct involvement of developing business requirements, process flows, and application design
  • Integrate Salesforce.com with other existing applications
  • Develop user-requested reports, dashboards, views, new data fields. Understand and proactively manage downstream implications of changes to any of these items
  • Create and update workflow approval processes and execute configuration changes
  • Develop and maintain API scripts and s-controls to support custom development as needed
  • Develop and maintain naming conventions of pick lists, report folders, dashboards, etc. to improve system usability
  • Perform mass data imports using the API or other import tools and perform manual or automated data entry / data clean up as required
  • Serve as initial point of contact for developing and prioritizing all change requests, system alterations, and customization
  • Partner with cross functional teams to produce requirements and design for business capabilities that align to company’s business and technology strategies providing guidance on Salesforce matter expertise
  • Create and maintain documentation of key project artifacts, processes and system functionality/tools using Agile Scrum methodologies
  • Own Salesforce Administration responsibilities and hands on implementation of all administration needs from beginning to end
  • Generate visualization and reports/dashboards on Salesforce to satisfy business reporting requirements
  • Monitor new Salesforce release features/functionality and provide recommendations for process improvements
  • Coordinate testing, upgrades and configuration of system files and services
  • Assist in the technical rollout of future enhancements

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience preferred
  • 3+ years of experience with Salesforce in a solutions capacity
  • Multiple Salesforce project deployments including release and environment management
  • Multiple Salesforce certifications preferred
  • Proficient with Salesforce Lightning Experience, Apex, VisualForce, Native, MySQL and JavaScript

Available Shift:  Full Time

Compensation:  Depends on experience
