Job Description

SBM Management has an immediate opening for a MRO Program Manager. The MRO Program Manager acts as an on-site liaison between the Corporate Procurement team and our customer. Responsible for managing and coordinating all customer requests for MRO supplies and the management of on-site inventory. Coordinating procurement and management of materials, parts, equipment, and supplies for the organization.

  • SBM representative providing technical support to help customers identify and acquire the correct materials.
  • Actively work with customers on new solutions and projects.
  • Work with SBM Procurement to develop opportunities and grow program.
  • Engaging SBM Procurement, suppliers and manufacturers for demonstrations, trainings and innovative solutions.
  • Trouble shoot with suppliers to get products through quality and customer service acceptance.
  • Manage, monitor and report levels of MRO inventory.
  • Implement new inventory solutions.
  • Manage work order system and order MRO items from vendors for supplies.
  • Enters purchase orders into the purchasing systems and forwards to suppliers and internal departments.
  • Verify quantity and quality of materials and supplies.
  • Works with SBM Procurement to compare suppliers, specifications, and delivery dates.
  • Contacts suppliers concerning delivery status.
  • Resolves issues with material’s returns and exchanges.
  • Maintain site records and files.
  • Follow a project until completion.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor degree preferred, or equivalent years of experience 
  • Knowledge and understanding of MRO materials in Lighting, Plumbing, HVAC, Tools, Electrical, Hardware & Fasteners, Safety, Etc..        
  • Ability to work in fast paced environments.
  • Extremely detail oriented.
  • High regard for customer service and interaction.  
  • Effective oral and written communication.
  • A pre-employment background screening and drug test will be required 

Available Shift:  Full Time

Compensation:  The salary for this position is $50,000 - $55,000 per year
