Job Description

SBM Management is searching for a dynamic Account Manager to manage our facilities.  The Account Manager actively manages and directs company programs and implements company policy to ensure compliance with contract duties between SBM and the customer.  The Account Manager is responsible for planning, supervision, budgeting, vendor and supplier contact, customer relations and other high level managerial responsibilities.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the account
  • Plan and develop work schedules to ensure contracted service
  • Inspect and evaluate physical condition of establishment for safety and quality
  • Audit and maintain inventory, supplies and equipment
  • Investigate and promote improved equipment and methods
  • Review customer service requests to ensure quality and priority
  • Analyze and facilitate budgets to identify areas of cost savings and improvement
  • Ensure site meets continuously budgeted goals
  • Assist with the advancement of developing new markets, increasing market share and obtaining a competitive position in the industry
  • Inspect and evaluate use of space and facilities
  • Assist with development of long-range plans, conceptual designs, and capital outlay requirements for program/process improvements, including: planning, budgeting, scheduling and cost estimating
  • Coordinate program specifications and requirements for proposals and contracts
  • Prepare and maintain reports on all financial aspects of the business, including forecasting and trends
  • Ensure safety and regulatory compliance with local, state, and federal regulations such as, FLSA, OSHA, ADA, etc.
  • Act as liaison between company, customers, clients, employees, and subcontractors
  • Establish and maintain relationships with contractors; maintain current database of contracts and contractor status
  • Conduct meetings to maintain consistent, timely and effective communication within all levels of the business (customers, clients, and employees)
  • Some travel will be required for this position

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience with facility management is required
  • Must have janitorial industry experience 
  • Experience managing large janitorial crews
  • Customer relationship management experience required
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish is preferred

Available Shift:  Full Time

Compensation:  Depends on experience
