SBM is looking for a System Administrator! This position is responsible for installing, configuring, maintaining, and improving the corporate infrastructure to include Servers, Routers, Switches, Firewalls, Backups, SAN, VM's, Workstations, VOIP phones/PBX, and Mobile devices. Assists the IT department with system configuration, setup, monitoring, account maintenance, and requested configuration changes. Demonstrates a blend of advanced technical knowledge, hands-on support skills, teamwork, excellent communication abilities, positive can-do attitude, and strong Project Management skills.
Responsibilities:
- Support Clustered Windows Hyper-V Environment
- Support Linux based servers and applications
- Provide Cisco networking support – Routers, Switches, Call Manager, Unity, VLans
- Defines and implements upgrades to the infrastructure and systems
- Tests and evaluates network changes to eliminate problems and make improvements
- Assists in the development and maintenance of VOIP systems
- Documents the current and proposed configurations
- Creates detailed technical procedures and plans
- Provides troubleshooting and customer support as needed to the Tier 1/Tier 2 helpdesk team
- Provides technical training and guidance to less experienced team members
- Participates actively on project teams
- Monitors Alerts for problem areas
- May require some travel
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, or a related field from a four-year college or university with 3-5 years of experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Microsoft Windows/Exchange 2013/Active Directory/DHCP/DNS Microsoft Hyper-V Router/Switch deployment, MS Office Support, Linux, Cisco Networking
