Job Description

SBM Management is searching for a Senior Graphic Designer! The Senior Graphic Designer establishes the conceptual and stylistic execution for projects and campaigns. The Senior Graphic Designer works in conjunction with the Strategic Design Director and Designers on all design solutions, including, but not limited to, digital- including web, mobile and traditional print.

Responsibilities
  • Creates inspiring, strategic, and innovative ideas for SBM/Insite that work in a fully integrated manner, both online and offline
  • Investigates, innovates, and develops trends in creative design with an emphasis on website, social, and mobile applications
  • Ensures all correspondence, marketing materials, presentations, proposals are of the highest quality
  • Creates user interface designs, architecture and functionality according to usability best practices, standards compliant design, and cross browser compatibility, with understanding of analytics for web and mobile
  • Creates innovative solutions while remaining within budget
  • Collaborates with copywriters, designers, and front and back-end developers
  • Supports the Design Director in training and directing staff members who develop design concepts for online, mobile, and offline purposes
  • Creates and follow brand guidelines
  • Works to creative brief and shows understanding and relevance to the target market
  • Effectively visualizes and creates concepts into the end product/final sign off, giving direction on photography style, imagery, typography, iconography, and navigation optimized for web
  • Adapts to the changing needs of the department, develops new skills, and assists with projects outside of normal job responsibilities as needed
  • Travel may be required

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university in marketing, communications, or related field; or five to seven years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Mobile design experience required and Software/Agile experience a plus.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.

  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.

  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

  • To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Graphics Design software; Portal Management Internet software; Excel Spreadsheet software and Microsoft Word / Outlook / Powerpoint Word Processing software.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.

  • Advanced Adobe CS5 skills
