Job Description

SBM Management is currently looking to hire a Senior Business Systems Project Manager to join their team!  This position is responsible for the on-going daily functional support of JD Edwards System, applications, and associated software. The role also includes significant participation and contribution to new and ongoing Business Systems projects and implementations.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary project coordinator for new business system implementations.
  • Work with system users to define new business processes within our systems.
  • Perform gap analysis to identify business needs not currently supported
  • Drive standardized business processes among systems/functions to simplify business processes.
  • Work closely with management to understand and prioritize business goals and information needs, then translate these needs to functional systems requirement documents and design specifications.
  • Then refine conceptual systems design requirements into high-level technical design document.
  • Serve as the primary contact to end users for fielding support related requests.
  • Log, track, resolve and report support issues to management.
  • Provide end user support, lead documentation of end user manuals, and ability to train end users.
  • Evaluate company systems and current processes
  • Compile objectives for improving and streamlining company procedures
  • Evaluate company performance, information, and formats Analyze company software and hardware uses and needs
  • Track company systems progress and report on progress
  • Develop procedures to improve existing systems
  • Research and compare hardware and software needs to make recommendations for company
  • Advise on best practices Plan and implement supportive business solutions
  • Document and create reports on systems effectiveness Recommend new system developments
  • Analyze relevant data
  • Translate data for presentation to other team members
  • Enhance company business performance Create guide to system updates
  • Present key information to IT teams for improvements
  • Estimate and establish costs of upgrades and improvements
  • Address issues of existing systems Compile, write, and distribute system process specifications

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience with Database software; Design software; Development Software; Spreadsheet and Word Processing Software.
  • May required to have a valid driver’s license.

Available Shift:  Full Time

Compensation:  Depends on experience
