Job Description

SBM Management is currently looking to hire a Procurement Analyst I to join their team!  The Procurement Analyst I supports Procurement and company’s business requirements by analyzing and coordinating technical services such as system changes, business models which include processes and data, web based KPI and related reporting solutions. Coordinates and supports Procurement operations by performing the following duties:

Responsibilities
  • Advises team members and management on the appropriate supplier and/or product to be used
  • Enters and maintains all catalog information in our systems including pricing, unit of measure, items description, item pictures and price conversions tables.
  • Provides top level customer service to our sites resolving a variety of issues including; PO creation/corrections, catalog updates, new product setup, solving system issues and providing system training.
  • Coordinates with vendors and operations to ensure purchase order accuracy and timely delivery of products and services.
  • Perform audits of system data in ensure a high level of accuracy and integrity is maintained.
  • Analyzes ordering trends to help drive cost savings for the company.
  • Manages ticketing system, email and customer service phone line to ensure all procurement requests are assigned and resolved timely.
  • Works a variety of projects as assigned by procurement management.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages.  
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Proficient with Microsoft office, including Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
  • Ability to provide a high level of customer service and professionalism to a variety of partners and customers in complex and demanding situations

Available Shift:  Full Time

Compensation:  The salary for this position is $47,500 - 50,000 per year
