Overview

SBM Management is searching for a Marketing and Design Specialist! The Marketing and Design Specialist provides expertise in graphic support and content development. They will collaborate with internal customers and the Marketing team to develop and produce marketing and communication materials. They will serve as design point person to fulfill assignments for customer-facing and internal projects. Range of projects may include, but is not limited to, RFP support, standard monthly presentation support, print collateral,  promotional items, case studies, and signage, as well as light copy writing/editing as needed.

Responsibilities
  • Manages multiple concurrent projects, often requiring crossing departments/divisions (sales or operations) to produce the most effective communications
  • Supports layout, graphics, and design of RFP responses
  • Develops marketing and sales presentations
  • Designs and produces compelling print materials
  • Works/negotiates with print vendors and other contractors to ensure cost efficiency and high quality standards
  • Helps define and execute integrated marketing campaigns in accordance with SBM brand strategy and style guidelines
  • Maintains SBM style guide and ensures compliance internally and with outside vendors
  • Tracks, benchmarks and maintains inventory of marketing materials
  • Maintains inventory of photo work, artwork, and film, and maintains marketing literature, archive files, and sample files
  • Helps prepare for involvement in community organizations and events
  • Adapts to the changing needs of the department, develops new skills, and assists with projects outside of normal job responsibilities as needed, including basic writing / editing of SBM materials

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university preferred; Design school certification and / or design students may be acceptable; in addition to the qualification above or a equivalent mixture of experience education.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual should have extensive knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite; proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs.
  • Experience directly supporting sales or operations a plus.

Available Shift:  Full Time

Compensation:  The salary for this position is $80,000 per year
